Black Hole Imaged: Nietzsche was Right

Staring into the abyss as once declared often results in the abyss staring right back at you. Indeed the abyss has glanced upon us with its dark eye.

The first image of a black hole, the supermassive one at the center of galaxy Messier 87, was published by the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration on April 10, 2019.

Does it mean we are finally going to lunge ourselves into annihilation before the Endgame?

Or does the imaging promise to sharpen the principles and applications of physics?

The black hole was given the nickname Pōwehi, not the regular F51i-TS sequence of naming we expected but an actual real name.

The name borrowed from Hawaiian means “embellished dark source of unending creation
